Welcome to the Young Funky Club
Young Funky, launched by Inspire in October 2006, is
aimed at young people with disabilities from the ages of
11 to 16. Young Funky is established in Impington Village
College, The Castle School and Meldreth Manor School.
Activities include: Singing, Dancing, DJing and Video
Jamming.
National Youth Disability Film Awards
- Entries for this year's National Youth Disability Film Awards
are aleady being accepted for the various different categories.
Last Years (2008) Awards were held
at the Arts Picturehouse in Cambridge
hosted by FFTV with honours going to
our Young Funky TV group in the shape
of achievement awards.
It wasn't only local children who won
the coveted awards though as
schools and clubs from across
Britain came to collect their trophies.
You can see the edited highlights
as well as all the winning films on
the Funky Flamingo TV site.
Well done to all the winners.
