Funky Flamingo Club – ‘Live Love In’
– Thursday 12th February was a snowycold night which led to the turnout beinglower than usual but we still had a greattime bringing you a Valentine’s ‘LiveLove In’ event that took place at TheJunction in Cambridge, UK.Three live bands performed includingspecial guests The Beathovens all theway from Liverpool, Dreamcatchers andCourageous K as well as the Popstars singers andimperson-ators. Edited highlights of the action will be availableto watch soon on FFTV as well as a review from steering groupmember John Hutchison.

FFTV National Youth Disability Film Awards-Funky Flamingo TV held the National Youth Dis-ability Film Awards at theCambridge Picture-house this Monday the 8th December from 5pm-7pm. Tickets were free and winners came fromacross the country to attend and receive theirawards and the red carpet treatment. This eventwas also broadcasted live on FFTV and highlights plus all thewinning entries are available to watch NOW! on the Awards2008 Winners channel.

FFTV is also on the lookout for a BSL signer to make our films available to the deaf. While we already run subtitles on some programmes this would be an invaluable resource.
